FIR Filed Against Munawar Faruqui Fan For Using ILLEGAL Drone at Bigg Boss Win Celebration – News18

A Munawar Faruqui fan has landed in trouble after he used an illegal drone during the comedian’s Bigg Boss 17 win’s celebrations in Mumbai. Munawar was announced the winner of Bigg Boss 17 on Sunday night. Salman Khan had presented him the award, a cheque of Rs 50 lakhs and a car. On Monday, Munawar headed to Dongri, the area he grew up in, and was greeted with a grand celebration. Videos and photos from the grand celebrations went viral. One of which included Munawar standing on the sunroof while fans surrounded him.

The picture highlighted the comedian’s popularity. However, the said shot has also caught Mumbai Police’s attention. It has been revealed that the photos and videos were taken using an unregistered drone. It has now been revealed that Dongri Police has registered an FIR against a drone operator. The operator has been identified as Arbaaz Yusuf Khan. His drone camera has been confiscated by cops.

Munawar was competing with Abhishek Kumar for the trophy. When Salman Khan announced Munawar’s name, it took everyone a moment to realise that Salman was not joking about the winner. The comedian was overwhelmed with joy when his name was announced as the winner of the popular reality show. His mother and sister had also come on the show to support him and were beaming with pride at his win.

Although the comedian always tried to make the audience laugh with his one-liners, his journey on the show often left him teary-eyed and emotional. Munawar’s stint on the show has been marked by several controversies, including allegations of two-timing with ex-girlfriend Nazila Sitaishi and pre-existing marriage proposals before entering the Bigg Boss house. Despite these hurdles, Munawar Faruqui managed to win the hearts of Bigg Boss fans and emerge as the winner of the popular reality show.
