Father killed his daughter in Karnataka: She was in love with a boy from another caste, the boy also killed himself

A father killed his 20-year-old daughter on Tuesday in Bodagurki village of Bangarapet taluk in Karnataka. She was in love with a boy from another caste. On getting the information of the murder of the girlfriend, the lover also took his own life. The police informed about this on Wednesday.

Police said that the accused father has been arrested. The case is being investigated.

According to the police, Krishnamurthy, a resident of Bangarapet in Kolar Gold Fields, used to often quarrel with his daughter Keerthi. She wanted to marry 24 year old Gangadhar.

On Tuesday morning too, Krishnamurthy once again tried to persuade Keerthi to end her relationship with Gangadhar. There was a fight between the two regarding this. The quarrel increased so much that Krishnamurthy strangulated Kirti to death.

He told that to make the murder appear suicide, his body was hanged from the ceiling fan.
