Rajasthan’s Pushpa Gurjar Scores 99.4% In 12th Board, Aspires To Be An IAS Officer – News18

Pushpa Gurjar topped the 12th board exam.

She used to study 8 to 10 hours daily. Due to the difficulties in her life, she used to complete her work at home to save time to invest in her examination preparation.

Pushpa Gurjar, a resident of Railiya village, near Guda Godji town in Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan, scored 99.40 per cent in the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education 12th board examination. Her immense success made the villagers proud of her.

Pushpa Gurjar is the daughter of an ex-serviceman. The village is situated in the foothills of Aravali. The area is most importantly known for animal husbandry. She is the first student from the area to obtain high marks. She shared the credit for her great academic success with her parents. She also mentioned the support of her teachers. By achieving such marks in the 12th board examination, she brought recognition to her village and district.

According to Pushpa Gurjar, she used to study for 8 to 10 hours daily. Due to the difficulties in her life, she used to complete her work at home to save time to invest in her examination preparation. According to the villagers and relatives, she was able to snatch away the topper’s spot due to her hard work only.

Pushpa received full marks in many subjects. She scored 100 out of 100 in mathematics and chemistry. She expressed to the media that she received all of her guidance from her father, who is a retired army officer. Her mother is a homemaker.

After she received her results for the RBSE 12th board exam, the news went viral. Pushpa Gurjar expressed her aspirations. As per her words, she wants to appear for the Union Public Service Commission examination as she aspires to become an IAS officer. The ambitious girl has already begun her preparation for the UPSC examinations. She aims to crack the examination in her first attempt. She expressed that she wants to fulfil the dream of her father.

The board exam started in February this year. The board released the results of the Science, Commerce, and Arts stream in class 12 on May 20 at 12.15 p.m. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sharma, congratulated all the students on his X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the students who have passed the 12th Board Main Examination 2024 in Science, Arts, and Commerce subjects by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. Also, those students who did not achieve success this time should not be disappointed at all. Work hard again with new zeal and enthusiasm; I am sure that you will succeed!”
