31 August 2022, Bajrangi, the mastermind who recruited fake teachers in 3 government schools of Jhansi, was caught. Bajrangi took Rs 78 lakh from 6 people to get them government jobs. The police revealed in the investigation that Bajrangi himself was a teacher of Prayagraj, who was sacked in 2015 on charges of rigging. He had earlier sent fake appointment letters to people in many districts.
After the arrest of Bajrangi, the education department of UP has become alert. Orders have been given to take action against such active gangs making fake recruitments in every district. Case 1: Priyanka raised Rs 39 lakh salary in 6 years
In the year 2014, there were recruitments for Assistant Teacher Urdu. Priyanka Yadav of Mirzapur filled the form and took the exam. On August 28, 2015, she became a teacher at Girls’ High School, Bharpura. The job went well for 6 years. Then in the beginning of the year 2022, an anonymous letter came to Kamta Ram Pal, the education director of Vindhyachal Mandal. It was written in it that Priyanka Yadav is doing a job on the basis of fake degrees.

The officer decided to investigate. Investigation revealed that Priyanka Prajapati, whose degree is working on the basis of Priyanka’s degree, is living in London these days. Priyanka Yadav got the job by tampering with her documents. From this job, she had also taken a salary of more than 38 lakh 99 thousand rupees. In April, 2022 the accused teacher is dismissed. been done.
Case 2: Anamika was working in 25 schools in UP
Manjesh Kumari of Behta Raipur village of Kannauj misused Anamika Shukla’s document. Describing herself as Anamika Shukla, she joined Barchhawan’s school as a full time teacher. Joined the job on March 8, 2019 and went on Holi vacation exactly one year later on March 7, 2020. He was to return to school on March 14, but by then the country was under lockdown.
Rae Bareli police had announced a reward of Rs 15,000 on Manjesh Kumari.
Meanwhile, the government ordered data feeding of every school in UP on Diksha App. Fraud exposed. It was found that fake documents of Anamika Shukla have been used not in one place but in 25 government schools in many districts including Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, Baghpat, Aligarh, Varanasi, Kasganj, Amethi, Prayagraj. Many girls are doing teacher jobs in the name of Anamika.
After getting the information, Manjesh Kumari went underground. Exactly a year later, in June 2021, the police arrested him from Lucknow. The surprising thing was that the real Anamika Shukla does not do any job. She lives in Gonda, UP.
Case 3: Became a fake teacher, became a principal after getting promotion
On March 2022, UP STF arrested Firozabad’s fake teacher Devendra Kumar. Devendra became a primary teacher in the year 2006 through fake documents. After getting a promotion in a few years, he also became the principal. Devendra had misused the documents of a government primary teacher already appointed in Hathras district. As soon as the information was received, the education department dismissed him. An FIR was also lodged in his name. Now the education department is also preparing to recover the salary given to him.
BSA Anjali Aggarwal told that the fake Devendra Kumar had come to know that the information about the matter has been received by the STF. Meanwhile, he tried to resign but we did not accept.
Case 4: Became a fake teacher, took 50 lakh salary, then sent the news of death
Suman, a fake teacher from Farrukhabad, was caught on July, 2021. Suman was working as a teacher since 2010 with the help of fake documents. In October 2020, this fraud came to light due to two women having the same PAN card. The Education Department started investigation by stopping Suman’s salary. Till now Suman had taken a salary of 50 lakhs.
BSA Lalji Yadav had also come under the scanner in the fake teacher Suman case.
Basic Education Officer Lalji Yadav said, “Suman was called four times during the investigation but she did not come even once. In early 2021, news came that Suman had died. The matter settled down. Then in July 2022, the news of the woman being alive appeared in a local newspaper. After this news, there was a stir in the education department. The teacher was immediately sacked and an FIR was lodged against her.
Case 5: On the basis of fake documents got 26 years job
Another big case of fake teacher came to light in October, 2021. Vindhyachal Ram of Ghazipur district was working for the last 26 years on the basis of fake documents. In the year 1995, he joined the job as an assistant teacher. After a few years, he got promoted and became a professor. The matter came to light after PAN card matching. After being informed, he was dismissed. Devendra Kumar Pandey, Basic Education Officer of the district said, “The salary given to them from such fake teachers will also be recovered.”

Jeet Narayan further said, “We used to prepare the list of such candidates. We used to download their marksheets from the website. Then we used to generate fake marksheets in the name of their candidate with the same roll number. The name of the original candidate who passed the second examination. Places used to send their candidate along with the original mark sheet. Our candidate joining was done easily. We also used to tamper with other documents of the candidate if needed.”
