Earthquake in Himachal’s Kinnaur: Magnitude 3.40; Tremors felt 3 to 4 times, no loss of life or property

Earthquake tremors were felt late Friday night in the tribal district of Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there were 3 to 4 tremors at 10:02 pm.

Its intensity was measured at 3.40 on the reactor scale. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property in this.

The epicenter of the earthquake was Nako in Kinnaur. Its depth inside the ground remained up to 5 kilometers. Apart from Nako, tremors were also felt in nearby Chango, Samdo, Pooh, Khab, Reckong Peo along the China border.

It is being told that some people came out of their houses after repeated tremors.
