Deepti Sharma Awarded ICC Women’s Player Of The Month For December

Indian Women cricketer Deepti Sharma has been awarded the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s Player of the month award for December after her excellent showing with both, bat and ball, for the Indian side in December 2023. The Agra-born cricketer was pivotal in historic Test victories against England and Australia and did her bits in white-ball cricket too.

Deepti Sharma is the first Indian Women’s cricketer to win the ICC Player of the Month award since Harmanpreet Kuar, who won it in September 2022.

 

Deepti Sharma’s Excellent December 2023 For India Women

Deepti Sharma has been an astonishing cricketer her entire career and her ability to bowl in death overs, show resilience and stability with bat makes her a vital commodity for the Indian Women’s cricket team setup. She started her December 2023 by putting in a Man of the Match performance against England Women as India thrashed the visitors by 347 runs.

Later, on the banks of her excellent 78 that took India Women past 400, the Women in Blue scripted history against Australia Women as they won their first ever Test international against the cricketing giants at the Wankhede Stadium.
