Cyberabad Traffic Police responds after video of car with children sitting in an open boot goes viral

A video of a car with three children sitting in an open boot has gone viral on social media. The video left netizens apprehensive about the children’s safety. The video was posted by a Twitter handle named Soncho Zara. It has over 10k views.

In the video, you can see three children sitting in a car with open boot and playing. While the guardians appeared nonchalant about the kids’ safety, a man who happened to spot this car on the roads of Hyderabad. This is an absolutely irresponsible and unsafe thing to do and the video was shared on social media which has grabbed the attention of the officials.

“How irresponsible parents are they? Please take review sir and action,” the video caption reads.

Netizens also chided the parents for being so careless with the kids. “Even this is a very dangerous act by the hired Auto/7 seater. Parents should be cautious,” a user wrote.

“Arrest the parents for jepodising the lives of the children. The parents should know better. What kind of lessons are they giving their children. Irresponsible parents will bring up irresponsible children later to be irresponsible citizens. Ban the parents from driving for 5 years” another user wrote.

Soon after the video was posted, Cyberabad Police responded and wrote that the necessary action has been taken against them. “Your information has been verified and E-Challan has been generated. Thanks for joining hands with Cyberabad Traffic Police in improving road safety,” Cyberabad Traffic Police wrote in response to the tweet.
