The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Exam today, December 4, 2023. Interested candidates who are yet to register for the exam are advised to do the same at the earliest on the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in. Following the closure of the registration/application process, registered candidates will also be able to make changes to their submitted applications from December 6 to December 8, 2023. While the previous registration deadline for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Exam was November 30, the NTA later extended it till December 4.
The CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 Exam will be conducted on December 26, 27, and 28, 2023, for five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The medium of the exam shall be bilingual with Hindi and English, both as the medium of the exam. The admit cards for the exam shall be made available on the official website, two days before the commencement of the exams.
Notably, Joint CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. Online applications for JRF/NET are invited twice a year on all India basis through Press Notification of Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF and LS/AP.
