Coronavirus vaccination: Can COVID vaccines reduce prolonged COVID symptoms in patients?

Currently, Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin, Serum Institute of India marketed Covishield (also known as Oxford-AstraZeneca or Vaxjeveria globally) and the Russia-made vaccine, Sputnik V are the three available vaccines in India. These COVID vaccines have received approval from the government and have good efficacy rates meeting WHO standards.

According to Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, “Both the vaccines administered in India (Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Serum Institute of India Marketing Coveshield) are effective against Delta. will be shared.”

Similarly, experts have claimed that Sputnik V, which became part of India’s vaccination campaign, is effective against all forms of COVID-19 known today.
