Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has got corona. Kejriwal has given this information by tweeting. On coming to know about the infection, he has quarantined himself. Arvind Kejriwal is campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and Uttarakhand. On Monday, Kejriwal held a rally in Dehradun. During this he was not wearing a mask.

Kejriwal wrote in his tweet that he has mild symptoms of infection and is currently quarantined at home. Kejriwal has appealed to the people who came in contact with him to get tested.
Corona updates
- In Maharashtra, 30 people including 28 students and 2 staff of an ashram school in Bhiwandi have been found corona positive.
- Corona report of 38 jawans has come positive in the CRPF camp of Chintagufa, Bastar in Chhattisgarh. All the soldiers have been quarantined in the barrack itself.
- Two prisoners and 6 employees have been found infected with corona in various jails of Tihar. Earlier in July 2021, cases of infection were found here.
- Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has isolated herself. A member of his family and a staff have been found corona infected.
- The corona report of Union Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey has also come positive. He has been admitted to Yashoda Super Specialty Hospital in Kaushambi.
In the last 24 hours, more than 35 thousand cases were found in the country, 121 died; Infection increased 4 times in a month
The pace of the epidemic in the country is increasing four times faster. On Monday, once again 35,438 positive patients have been found in the country. On December 1 last year, the number of infected in the country was close to 9765. In such a situation, a 4-fold jump in infection was recorded in the last one month itself. However, during this time the cases have also reduced.
Talking about the weekly increase, on December 12, the number of infected people came down to near 5784. On December 19, 5326 cases were registered in the country. Talking about December 26, on this day 6,358 positives were found across the country. A week later i.e. on January 2, 33,750 cases were found. Overall, the cases of sudden infection have increased 5 times faster than last week.

Condition of 5 most affected states
1. Maharashtra
On Monday, 12,160 people were found infected here. 1748 people were cured and 11 people died. So far 67.12 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 65.14 lakh people have been cured, while 1.41 people died. 52,422 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
2. West Bengal
On Monday, 6078 people were found infected here. 2917 people were cured and 13 people died. So far, 16.55 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 16.15 lakh people have been cured, while 19,794 people died. 20,186 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
3. Delhi
On Monday, 4099 people were found infected here. 1509 people recovered and one death was recorded. So far, 14.58 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 14.22 lakh people have been cured, while 25 thousand 110 people died. 10,986 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
4. Kerala
On Monday, 2560 people were found infected here. 2150 people were cured and 30 people died. So far 52.54 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 51.86 lakh people have been cured, while 48,184 people died. 19,359 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
5. Tamil Nadu
