The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially released the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 instructions along with the admit card. The test is scheduled to be held today,  December 3. This comprehensive set of instructions encompasses the code of conduct, bell timings, and other relevant guidelines. We have included all the essential details in this article that need to be followed by candidates on the exam day.

Candidates must strictly follow the specified CLAT 2024 exam timings. The entry of students inside the test centre is allowed at 1 PM. Candidates are expected to be seated inside the exam hall or classroom by 1:30 PM. The exam starts at 2 PM. Notably, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the test. The exam concludes at 4 PM and no candidate will be permitted to write anything on the OMR Response Sheet or Question after this time.

CLAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Other vital information and specific instructions that candidates must follow on the exam day are:

–– Leaving the exam hall is not permitted until the completion of the exam.

–– Carry a physical copy of the CLAT admit card 2024, and if the photograph is not clear, candidates should bring a self-attested copy.

–– Along with the admit card, candidates must have a government photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, voter ID, or PAN card.

–– Candidates can carry black/blue ballpoint pens, transparent water bottles, and analogue watches inside the exam hall.

–– The Question Booklet (QB) will contain blank pages for rough work and no extra sheets will be provided.

–– No clarification on the question booklet can be sought during the examination. Any discrepancies should be reported to the invigilator.

–– On the attendance sheet, candidates are required to enter their QB Number and OMR sheet number.

–– Multiple circles or stray marks on the OMR sheet will be considered double answers with negative markings.

–– If a candidate is found engaging in unfair practices, he or she will be disqualified.

–– Candidates must keep a copy of the admit card, as it will be necessary during the admission process.

It is crucial to bring both your admit card and a valid ID card to the exam centre for CLAT 2024. If you forget either of these, you won’t be allowed to take the exam. Don’t bring any study materials, notes, or electronic devices like phones, cameras, digital watches, bags, or calculators. You can’t leave the exam hall before the test is finished. Accepted photo ID proofs include Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID card, driving license, photo bank ATM card, and others listed in the official guidelines.
