Sameer Wankhede appeared before the CBI today in connection with the Aryan Khan case.

Sameer Wankhede, who was the zonal officer of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), reached the CBI office on Saturday. His questioning began at the CBI office in Mumbai’s BKC from 11 a.m. which continued till 4 p.m. While going inside, Wankhede said Satyamev Jayate (truth wins) in front of the media. He was questioned about the Aryan Khan case and matters related to corruption.

The CBI alleges that Sameer had demanded Rs 25 crore to release Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan. Apart from this, the agency also alleged that Sameer did not inform his seniors about the case.

The CBI had called Sameer for questioning on May 18, but he did not turn up. He had filed a writ petition in the Delhi High Court against the CBI’s summons, but he did not get much relief from there. The Delhi High Court advised Sameer to approach the Bombay High Court.

Sameer then approached the Bombay High Court. On May 19, the Bombay High Court directed the CBI not to take any action on Wankhede till May 22. However, the court said in its direction that Sameer will have to appear before the CBI on May 20 at 11 am.

According to the FIR registered by the CBI, at the behest of Sameer Wankhede, a person named KP Gosavi had demanded Rs 25 crore from Shahrukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani to release Aryan. Instead, he assured that Aryan Khan would not be implicated in the drug case.

In the investigation against Sameer Wankhede, a case of corruption came out against him. In this investigation, it was found that between 2017 and 2021, he made 6 foreign tours. During this he went to countries like Britain, Ireland, Portugal, South Africa and Maldives. The surprising thing is that he has told the total cost of these tours up to Rs.

Apart from this, he bought a gold watch worth 22 lakhs, which he did not inform the department. When did he go abroad, where did he stay, how much money did he spend. He did not give the exact details of this. The question has arisen in the investigation that when Sameer’s annual income is Rs 15.75 lakh, while his wife’s income is Rs 7 lakh, then how do they indulge in such expensive hobbies.
