Breaking News: Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi resigns from cabinet, may be candidate for the post of Vice President

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has resigned from the cabinet. He resigned from the post after the cabinet meeting held today. His Rajya Sabha term ends tomorrow.

Earlier, in the cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister had praised Naqvi’s tenure. His resignation has fueled speculation that he may be made the party’s vice-president.
