Fearing a police encounter in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists surrendered. The police surrounded both the terrorists. After identifying him, the police called his parents. When the mother pleaded with the son to lay down his arms, the son laid down the weapons. Police have found incriminating material, arms and ammunition from him.

On Wednesday morning, the police got information about the presence of two terrorists in Hadigam area of Kulgam. The force reached the spot and surrounded both the terrorists. During this, the local people informed the police about the identity of both the terrorists. Police was told that both the terrorists are local. On this the police officers made a plan to surrender him.
The SP and CO called the family of one of the two terrorists to the spot. When the police gave the mic to the terrorist’s mother, she asked her son to save his life by leaving the weapon with a tear. After the touching appeal of the mother, the police officers also announced that if he lay down his weapon, his life would be spared. After listening to the police and mother, both the terrorists surrendered.
IG Vijay Kumar of Kashmir Police told- If every parent appeals to their terrorist sons to give up the path of violence, then many lives can be saved. Whether they are trapped during live encounters or have joined terrorism, parents can bring their children on the right track if they so desire.
