BPSC 69th Mains 2023: The commission has declared the schedule of the BPSC 69th main examination according to which, it will start from January 3 and end on January 7

BPSC 69th Mains 2023 Exam Date: Bihar Public Service Commission has issued the notification for the mains exam for the candidates who have passed the BPSC 69th prelims exam. The commission has declared the schedule of the BPSC 69th main examination according to which, it will start from January 3 and end on January 7. The prelims exam was conducted on September 30 in a single shift from 12 pm to 2 pm and saw the participation of approximately 3 lakh candidates. The results were released in November.

According to the schedule, the General Hindi paper will be held on Jan 3, the General Studies first paper on Jan 4, the General Studies second paper on Jan 5, and the Essay subject paper on January 6. The examinations will held from 11 am to 2 pm. The optional papers will be held on Jan 20 and 21. It will be conducted in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.

BPSC has announced that it will issue the admit card for the mains exam a week before the date of commencement of the examination, that is, January 3. The admit cards will be released on the official website of BPSC, bpsc.bih.nic.in. It will not be sent to any candidate through post, and they will have to download the admit card online only.

The BPSC is administering the Main exam to fill up a total of 475 vacancies in several departments of the Bihar government. Candidates who clear the mains exams and are selected will be recruited into numerous posts in departments like Education, Revenue, Finance, Home, and Social Welfare as well as the State Election Commission.

The BPSC 69th Main Exam comprises three subjects – General Studies, Essays, and Optional subjects. The General Studies paper will have 250 questions, each carrying two marks. The essay paper will be graded out of 250 marks while the optional subject paper will be graded out of 500 marks. After the Main exam, candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the interview round, which will carry a weightage of 100 marks.
