A major accident took place during the immersion of the idol of Maa Durga in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. During idol immersion, 7 people died due to heavy flow in the Mal river. According to media reports, 20-25 people are missing. NDRF team has reached the spot as soon as the information about the accident is received. Jalpaiguri SP Devarshi Dutta said that relief and rescue work is going on.

A massive fire has broken out in several shops in Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar area. 21 vehicles of fire brigade are reaching the spot and dousing the fire.
