One day youth session will be held in the month of July.

Under the leadership of Nimaben Acharya, who became the first woman speaker of Gujarat, a new achievement is going to be added to the name of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. A one-day session will be held in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly in the month of July, in which students will sit in their place as MLAs. A plan has been prepared in this regard and it has also been officially approved by the Speaker.

Selection of students being done from across the state
In a special conversation with Bhaskar, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Nimaben Acharya said that a youth parliament is being organized for 182 students studying in class 11th and 12th. These students, to be called for the one-day session, are being selected from every nook and corner of the state. Very soon the full schedule will be officially announced. All meetings have been held for the implementation of this plan and the entire operation has been handed over to the school post institution.

CM and leader of opposition will also be students
According to Nimaben, 182 students will be called MLAs during this session. Out of these students, one student will also be the Chief Minister and one student will be the leader of the opposition. One student will be the president and the remaining 179 students will be MLAs.

There will be questions and answers during the session
A question and answer session will be conducted during the assembly session in the same way as the general assembly session is conducted. That is, the way questions and answers are done during the session. Students will do the same.

Teenagers will be able to be aware of political activities
According to Nimaben, the purpose of organizing this session is to make the teenagers aware of the democratic and political activities. Due to this, the students who became MLAs and ministers in the session will be only 17-18 years old. That is, in the next one or two years, they will exercise their franchise.

Students selection process begins
The responsibility of this entire event has been entrusted to the school post organization. Shruti Rajvanshi associated with this institution told Bhaskar that we have started the selection process of the students. From which school in which district, students have to be invited. Its detailed details have also been prepared. The final process will be done in the next 15 to 20 days.

400 other students will also be invited
400 other students will also be invited for this session, who will be the guests of this session. These students will be seated in the audience gallery. Thus this Youth Parliament will be conducted like the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly.

BJP benefits from youth session
Let us tell you, at the end of this year, assembly elections are to be held in Gujarat. At present, the maximum focus of the BJP is on the youth. If the students present in the youth parliament also exercise their franchise in the near future, it will bring them closer to the BJP.
