Baby on board: Alia Bhatt wears pink sharara with special message at Brahmastra event in Hyderabad

Mom-to-be Alia Bhatt made a striking appearance with hubby Ranbir Kapoor at the Brahmastra pre-release event held in Hyderabad on Friday. A bevy of several celebrities, including Karan Johar, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna, were also present at the grand event. However, it was Alia’s bright pink sharara set that stole the show.

The diva made heads turn in the vibrant traditional ensemblecustomised by celebrated designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, with some unmissable details. Her outfit from the designer duo’s Love collection, in fact, doubled up as a cute baby-arrival announcement. Wondering how? Well, the back of her kurti was adorned with gota accents and a special message that read, “Baby on board”.

That’s not all. Several gota motifs on the hem of her kurti and sharara pants also read “Love”. Alia, who is expecting her first child with hubby Ranbir, was all smiles as she posed in the customised outfit at the event. Must we add, her beaming pregnancy glow was unmissable.

As for her outfit, it was a 3-piece set comprising a short kurti, matching sharara pants and a dupatta. All the separates boasted glitzy gota embroidery. She further upped the ethnic charm of her look with a pair of elaborate earrings and a dainty bindi. She kept her tresses open and rounded off the look with natural-looking makeup.
