Apple Could Make iPhone 16 Pro Models Lot Cooler To Avoid Overheating Issues: Here’s How – News18

iPhone 16 Pro is unlikely to have overheating issues and here’s the reason

Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro series launching in 2024 will have to consider the overheating issues reported by the current users. And this could be the solution

Apple will not have major design changes with the next iPhone 16 series later this year but the company is unlikely to stand still from all corners. The iPhone 15 Pro models have reportedly faced heating issues which is a rarity for Apple but the company is ready to work on it by introducing a new layer of cooling protection.

New reports suggest Apple could rely on graphene to bring the temperature of the iPhones down, pushing away any possible overheating concerns that could arise with the iPhone 16 models later this year. It is pointed out that Apple will rely on the material only for the iPhone 16 Pro and the 16 Pro Max models.

Graphene was expected to replace graphite on the current iPhone 15 Pro versions as well but the company might have wanted better results from its tests to officially make the upgrade. Overheating issues aren’t common with Apple devices but with the power of hardware seeing major boost, the strain on the device and heavy applications can have a heating effect. Keeping the graphene cooling system for the 16 Pros allows Apple to justify the higher price as other changes are expected to be limited with this year’s iPhone lineup from the brand.

The new iPhone 16 series launching in 2024 will not get major design changes as Apple looks to focus on consistency and functionality. We have already heard reports about the iPhone 16 models getting a new capture button for the camera that will respond to touch and pressure.

But no major design changes mean the iPhone 16 series will be placed next to the iPhone 15 models and jokes will be made about its identical looks, just like the memes we see almost every year. The details about the lack of changes with the upcoming iPhones come via Ming-Chi Kuo, analyst through a post recently. Kuo mentioned that iOS 18 could have AI in some form but the major upgrades for iPhones will not come before 2025. What this means is that, if you really want to get the top AI features from the company, wait for the iPhone 17 lineup in 2025.
