AGTF’s ADGP Pramod Ban arrives after the encounter of Moosewala’s killers in Amritsar.
Punjab Police has prepared an action plan to eliminate gangsters. Soon the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) is being deployed in 8 police ranges of the state. In this, 250 officers and commandos will be deployed. Who will be given hi-tech weapons. The IG level officer will lead the team. These teams will be able to execute it whenever a situation like an encounter arises including Amritsar.
After the encounter of sharpshooters Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet Mannu in Amritsar, CM Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with the police officers led by DGP Gaurav Yadav and ADGP Pramod Ban. In which it was decided to make the Anti Gangster Task Force more active.
Teams will be deployed in these ranges
These teams of Anti Gangster Task Force will be deployed in Patiala, Bathinda, Ferozepur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Ropar, Faridkot and Border Range. These teams will continuously look for gangsters in their area. Will arrest them. If there is an encounter situation, then these teams will be allowed to take action.
AAP government minister claims: 90 gangsters caught in a month
