AAJ KA PANCHANG, OCTOBER 26, 2023: The Dwadashi Tithi and Trayodashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha will be observed on Thursday, October 26, according to Drik Panchang. On this day, devotees will observe two religious festivals namely, Papankusha Ekadashi Parana and Pradosg Vrat. Parana signifies the act of ending the fast. Ekadashi Parana is observed post-dawn on the day following the Ekadashi fast. It is imperative to complete the Parana during the Dwadashi Tithi unless it concludes before sunrise. Failing to observe the Parana within the Dwadashi period is considered akin to committing an offense.

On the other hand, the observance of Pradosh Vrat, also recognized as Pradosham in South India, is a way to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. If Pradosham occurs on a Monday, it is referred to as Soma Pradosham; on Tuesday, it is known as Bhauma Pradosham, and on Saturday, it is termed as Shani Pradosham.
