After gaining 500k on Instagram, Zeenat Aman thanked her followers and shared pearls of wisdom with them.
Veteran actress Zeenat Aman is known for her work in critically-acclaimed films like Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Pukar, Jagir, Teesri Aankh and several others. The 71-years old actress who was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat made her Instagram debut a few months back and ever since then, fans eagerly look forward to her musings on different topics. Owing to her popularity, Zeenat reached the 500k followers mark on the popular social media app and she thanked everyone for achieving this feat.
On Friday, Zeenat Aman took to her Instagram handle on Friday and shared a lovely picture of herself sporting a lovely white dress with polkas on it. She also looked elegant in a pair of sunglasses as she stood in the balcony amid the lush and verdant greenery around her. She penned the caption, “My Romeo is nowhere in sight, but I did see the ticker on my profile quietly cross the 500k followers count. It is simply extraordinary to me that I can connect with quite literally hundreds of thousands of you through this page. It has been an invigorating experience, for my self and no doubt my career. In these past months I have also observed the many deceits of social media.”
She continued, “So while I will thank you for your love, I will first say – don’t take social media too seriously. It is such a powerful tool. Use it to inspire, entertain and connect you. Not to fan your insecurities, ignite your envy or inject your venom. Now, I would be amiss to not express the extent of my gratitude. Our community and its growth has been entirely authentic and organic. And the love I have received is overwhelming. Thank you for sharing your memories, stories and appreciation with me both online and offline. I am honoured and delighted by you.”
Zeenat Aman is all set to star in Manish Malhotra’s directorial debut Bun Tikki. She will be seen sharing the screen space with Shabana Azmi. Zeenat and Shabana previously shared screen space in Ishk Ishk Ishk (1974) and Ashanti (1982). Bun Tikki also stars Abhay Deol. Manish shared a picture of these three actors on Instagram and provided details about the project.
