During this, incidents like heavy rain and cloudburst may occur at some places in the plains and medium altitudes. In view of this, the government has appealed to the residents and tourists to exercise caution. Along with this, people have been advised not to go to overflowing rivers, landslide prone areas, waterlogged places and avoid unnecessary travel.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is not expected to clear in the state till July 22.

All trains between Shimla-Kalka suspended till August 6

All trains running on the Shimla-Kalka heritage railway track have been suspended till August 6. The railway track has been damaged at many places due to heavy rains. In view of this, the Railway Management has taken this decision. And the Una-Amb track has been restored. During the last 24 hours, three trains including Vande Bharat have reached Una.

720 roads closed, more than 800 forms stalled

After heavy rains in the state last week, 720 roads have remained closed for eight days. Due to this, bus services on more than 800 routes have come to a standstill for a week. Due to this, the movement of people is getting badly affected. Due to the closure of the connectivity routes of rural areas, it is also having a bad effect on apple transportation.

Similarly, more than 400 drinking water schemes have also been closed since a week. Due to this, hundreds of people are not getting clean water to drink. Government and private property worth Rs 4638 crore has been destroyed due to the havoc of monsoon in the state. 32 people died and 12 people went missing in the disaster caused by heavy rains.
