New Delhi: ‘Kavach’ actor Shirin Sewani is expecting her first child with her husband Udayan Sachan, an airline captain. The two are expecting their child to be born in March 2024. The two have been married since December 2020. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor spoke with ETimes and shared deets about her pregnancy journey.
This is probably one of the greatest phases in my life and I am enjoying every moment. While the pregnancy was not planned, we are overjoyed to be on the journey of parenthood. What makes it even more exciting is that I am continuing to work and create content for social media. It is important to stay happy and engaged during your pregnancy.”
Shirin shared that she is more about staying happy and not following a set diet in her pregnancy. She eats what she wants to and has no cravings so far. ” have also started prenatal yoga into my routine to maintain flexibility.”She added.
Speaking about her partner Udayan, she said that he had been working extra hours so that he can be with her during the delivery. She exclaimed, “I feel most content when he’s by my side.”
Shirin and Udayan corted each other for a few months before tying the knot in an intimate courtroom ceremony durig the pandemic.
Shirin who has worked in the TV industry besides also being a part of OTT platforms, is also a content creator. About her work front, she told the publication, “As an artiste, I have always sought out meaningful roles. I am now dedicating my time to content creation. I find the process of creating, directing and editing my own content incredibly satisfying.”
Shirin has been part of OTT series like ‘Taj Mahal’, ‘Back Packers’, ‘Dev DD’ and films like ‘Khandani Shafakhana’ and ‘Mannat’.
