World Test Championship 2023-25: Updated Standings After India’s Win Over England

India Vs England 3rd Test: India thumped England by 434 runs in the third Test match of the five-match Test series and lead the series 2-1. The match at Rajkot was a historic one as Yashasvi Jaiswal became only the third Indian batter ever to register back to back double ton in consecutive Tests. India, with this win, have climbed up the order in the World Test Championship standings and will now be looking to seal the Test series and solidify their position in the WTC standings. 

 

World Test Championship 2023-25 – Updated Standings

1. New Zealand: The Black Caps are leading the WTC table, and sit first with 36 points in 4 matches, with 3 wins and 1 loss so far. They have a Points Percentage system (PCT) of 75.

2. India: India are now second with 50 points in 7 matches, as they have won 4, lost 2 and drawn 1 match. They have a PCT of 59.52.

3. Australia: Australia have slipped to third with 66 points in 10 matches, which include 6 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw. They have a PCT of 55.0.

4. Bangladesh: Bangladesh comes in at fourth with 12 points in 2 matches, which include a win and loss each so far. They have a PCT of 50.0.

5. Pakistan: Pakistan sit at fifth with 22 points in 5 matches, which include 2 wins and 3 losses. They have a PCT of 36.66.  

6. West Indies: West Indies sit at sixth with 16 points in 4 matches, with 1 win, 2 losses, and 1 draw. They have a PCT of 33.33.

7. South Africa: South Africa sit at seventh with 12 points in 4 matches, which include a solitary win and 3 losses. They have a PCT of 25.
