Recently, Northern Railways tweeted, “Non-interlocking and pre-interlocking work will be started for the Alambagh bypass line from Uthratia to Transport Nagar and the double line from Lucknow to Almanagar branch.” That is why some trains will be canceled .’ A list of which trains will be canceled is also given along with the schedule. According to that schedule, 22 trains have been canceled. According to the schedule, these trains will be canceled from January 18 to 24. The canceled trains are Archana Express, Howrah to Amritsar Mail and Amritsar to Howrah Mail, Kolkata to Jammu Tawai Express and Jammu Tawai to Kolkata Express, Up and Down Ganga-Shatadru Express, Balamu to Lucknow Charbagh Express.
Several intercity and short-distance trains have also been canceled for this purpose. Those trains include Jhansi to Lucknow and Lucknow to Jhansi Intercity, as well as Sitapur to Kanpur and Kanpur to Sitapur trains. Besides, trains from Lucknow to Kashganj and from Kashganj to Lucknow are also on the cancellation list.
