Women’s Premier League Auction 2023 Live Updates: The auction for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) in Mumbai is underway. Smriti Mandhana is the costliest player with a bid of Rs 3.4 crore by RCB, while Ashleigh Gardner fetched a sum of Rs 3.2 crore by Gujarat Giants. In the second set, Deepti Sharma fetched a sum of 2.60 Cr from Up Warriorz. A total of 1,525 players registered for the inaugural Women’s Premier League Player Auction and the final list was pruned to over 449 players. Tahlia MCGrath goes to UP Warriorz for 1.4 Cr. Beth Mooney is under the hammer at the moment. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers are in the bidding war at the moment. Delhi Capitals enter the bidding war and it’s between DC and MI now. Gujarat Giants have made a bid of 1.8 Cr and MI are taking their time to rethink, and here they make it 1.9 Cr. GG eventually bag the player for 2 Cr.

Right-arm pacer Renuka Singh, who is known for the art of swinging the ball, has been sold to RCB for 1.50 Cr. Nat Sciver comes in next and she is set to fecth a really big sum. Mumbai Indians have made a bid of 3.2 Cr for the player. That’s it. MI will buy her at that price.
