5 teams will play in the first season

Only 5 teams will play in the initial season. The first season will be in March. Men’s IPL matches have been held earlier in Dharamsala, Indore and Guwahati, but these three grounds are not the home ground of any team.

The shortlisted cities for the matches are Delhi (Arun Jaitley Stadium), Lucknow (Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium), Kolkata (Eden Garden Stadium), Bengaluru (M Chinnaswamy Stadium), Ahmedabad (Narendra Modi Stadium), Chennai (MA Chidambaram Stadium). ), Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium), Guwahati (Barspara Stadium), Indore (Holkar Stadium) and Mumbai (Wankhede, Brabourne, DY Patil Stadium).

It is being told that the women’s IPL can be organized from 5 to 26 March. The men’s tournament will begin after the women’s IPL is over. And before this, from March 1 to March 5, a Test match will be played between India and Australia in Dharamshala. So far this will be the second Test match in Dharamshala, for which preparations are going on.
