‘Will take action’: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan speaks on Khargone violence and more

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke exclusively to India Today on bulldozer politics in the state and Khargone Ram Navami violence and more. Shivraj Singh Chouhan warned that his government will not spare anyone found indulging in riots and disturbing the peace in the state.

In Khargone, stones were allegedly pelted at a Ram Navami procession, prompting the police to fire tear gas shells to control the situation. The pelting of stones triggered arson and torching of some vehicles and houses, a senior police official said. Following the incident, curfew was clamped in the entire Khargone city on the intervening nights of Sunday and Monday.
