Hwang Bo Ra’s agency informed that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy on the afternoon of May 23. Both mother and child are doing fine.

There’s a big piece of good news for the fans of South Korean actress Hwang Bo Ra. Known for her role in K drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Hwang has just given birth to her first child. As she takes on the role of a mother, Hwang Bo Ra’s agency, WALK HOUSE COMPANY, shared the happy news with fans on May 23.

The agency informs that Hwang Bo Ra gave birth to a healthy baby boy on the afternoon of May 23. Both mother and child are doing well and are under the loving care of her family, the agency wrote, according to a report from Soompi.

“We express our gratitude to everyone who has shown their blessings and support to Hwang Bo Ra and Oh Deok (baby’s nickname). We hope you continue to show warm regards and love,” her agency added.

She married Kim Young-hoon in November 2022, after dating him for almost a decade. He is the CEO of her agency WALK HOUSE COMPANY. He is also the younger brother of popular actor Ha Jung Woo and the son of veteran Korean actor Kim Yong Gun.

Hwang Bo Ra, who started her acting career in 2003, initially gained a lot of attention for her unique role as the cup noodle girl in a Ramyeon commercial. Over the years, she has built a successful career in acting and has become a well-known figure in the Korean industry.

On her professional front, over the years, Hwang Bo Ra, 40, has appeared in a number of roles in different films and TV dramas.
