<p>The 41 workers trapped inside the Silkyara Tunnel for 16 days have been successfully rescued. The workers were trapped inside the tunnel after part of the under-construction tunnel collapsed in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi. However, the desperate attempt to rescue these trapped workers led authorities to turn to a controversial and banned mining practice known as "rat-hole mining."</p>
