Due to this mismanagement of the Railways, passengers who had booked tickets three months in advance are stuck in limbo.

Railway officials are saying that after this block, the platform of Udhna station will start for four and five passenger trains. This will provide convenience to the passengers in future. 40 trains have been cancelled, same number of trains will be run through partially canceled trains and diverted routes. These days there was a huge crowd of passengers going to the village at the Surat railway station. Along with celebrating Holi in the village, people were also going to participate in marriages. On March 5 and 6, a large number of people were about to go to the village. His dream was shattered due to the cancellation of trains.

Train No. 09156 Vadodara – Surat MEMU Special leaving Kosad on March 5 will be short terminated at Kosad and will return as Train No. 09155 from Kosad. Train No. 19106 Paldhi-Udhna Express scheduled to leave on 4th and 5th March, 2023 will remain partially canceled between Chalthan-Chalthan.

All MEMU trains also canceled
Apart from Express, all MEMU trains will also remain cancelled. There are 1500 seats in a train. If we consider the average fare of one seat as Rs 700, then it is Rs 3.67 crore. Online tickets will be automatically canceled and the amount will be credited to the bank account. Tickets at the counter will be canceled for the next 72 hours from the departure time of the train.
