The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) declared the results for Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM Revised) as well as General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) 2023 on September 6. Candidates who appeared for the WBJEEB ANM (R) and GNM exam 2023 can download their rank cards from the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in.
To retrieve the result, candidates will have to enter their application number, date of birth and security pin on the login window. The WBJEEB ANM (R) and GNM exam was conducted on July 23 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The final answer key for the same was released on September 5.
“The results of the ANM & GNM-2023 for admission into ANM(R) & GNM courses in various Institutes in the State of West Bengal will be declared on 06-09-2023,” read the official notice. It is to be noted that the WBJEEB ANM (R) and GNM rank cards will mention details like score, overall rank, and other relevant information.
The WBJEEB conducted this entrance exam for candidates seeking admission to the two-year ANM (R) and three-year GNM programmes in several colleges or institutions in the state. The online application process for WBJEEB ANM (R) and GNM started on January 17 and ended on February 24.
WBJEEB ANM (R) And GNM Result 2023: Steps To Download
Step 1: Visit WBJEEB’s official website at www.wbjeeb.nic.in or www.wbjeeb.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the “Result” section and search for the “ANM & GNM 2023 Results” link. Then click on the given link.
Step 3: On the new page, you will have to enter your exam-related details like Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin. Then click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
Step 4: The WBJEEB ANM (R) & GNM rank card will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Check the result and download the rank card for admission purposes.
WBJEEB has issued different ranks for ANM(R) and GNM, both of which are referred to as GMR (General Merit Rank). The ranking mechanism is based on the descending order of the marks received in the admission exam. Separate merit positions have also been designated for candidates from various reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD, EWS, and Orphan/CD, where appropriate.
While rank cards have been distributed to all ANM(R) and GNM-2023 candidates, not all may have attained a rank and so be ineligible for counselling. For counselling reasons, the board will determine the cut-off rank and/or cut-off score.
