WB Legislative Assembly: Mobile phones temporarily banned in Vidhan Sabha

Starting from the Chief Minister’s residence, it has already happened in Navanne. This time in the assembly also the police personnel in charge of security were banned from using mobile phones. Strict restrictions were imposed on this mobile around the presidential election.

The assembly has been formed around the presidential election. The security guards have been patrolling outside the strong room for the election since Thursday. Those in charge of security have been told that no smart phones can be used. Since the Strong Room is under CCTV surveillance, the security guards have to abide by the instructions of the Election Commission. As well as the fact that the commission staff is often coming to see how the strong room guards are doing, there is no way that the security guards will use the mobile.

It is to be noted that the administration has taken a strict stand since an unknown person entered the top of the wall at the Chief Minister’s residence a few days ago. According to the administration, the policemen in charge of security in Navanne will not be able to use mobile phones while on duty. They have to deposit their mobile before the start of duty. In many cases, many policemen are busy on social media while on duty. As a result, security is being neglected. As soon as this information came to light, the administration imposed a ban on the mobile phones of the police personnel on duty.
