In a major security lapse, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy was stranded for around 20 minutes on a flyover due to a blockade by protesting farmers in Punjab’s Ferozepur on Wednesday. “The primary responsibility was on the shoulders of Punjab police during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit,” said former DGP of Punjab Shashi Kant.
