Emraan Hashmi’s Showtime recently premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar and has gained quite a lot of praise from viewers.
Emraan Hashmi’s latest venture, ‘Showtime’, has premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar, with a couple of episodes already on the streaming giant. There is no doubt about it that the actor enjoys a mass fan following across the country, thanks to his performances in films and, of course, those striking looks! Hashmi’s craze among admirers was recently witnessed after a fan got emotional upon meeting her favourite star. A video of the same is now going viral on social media, where he can be seen greeting his devoted fans.
Shared on Instagram by a paparazzi handle, the video shows Emraan Hashmi from the Mumbai airport when fans in numbers gathered around. It was at that moment that a female fan approached the actor and offered him a bouquet. Later, she was also getting emotional as Emraan shook hands with her.
He also obliged the young lady by clicking a picture with her.

Besides that, Emraan also clicked pictures with a few other fans and interacted with them. The actor looked dapper as ever, dressed in a black tee and cargo pants.

The Karan Johar-produced show has created a lot of buzz since it was announced, considering its take on shedding light on a different side of the film industry. Hashmi, who plays the lead role, portrays the character of a reputed producer’s son, who struggles to run the family studio on his terms, only to bring conflicts between them. Presently, fans eagerly await the upcoming episodes of Showtime.
Besides Emraan, the series has actors like Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelwal, Mouni Roy, and Naseeruddin Shah in prominent roles.
One of the major highlights of the show is the cameos from some of the biggest Bollywood stars, like Janhvi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Mrunal Thakur, and Neha Dhupia, followed by prominent filmmakers like Hansal Mehta, Gurmmeet Singh, Nitesh Tiwari, and Vasan Bala. If reports are to be believed, rare footage of Neetu Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Jeetendra, and Prem Chopra has also been weaved into the show’s narrative.
Emraan Hashmi was previously seen in the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 in the role of the antagonist.
Recently, he was also rumoured to be featured in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. However, the actor himself denied the reports through an Instagram story.
