In the second phase there are 1357 Zilla Parishad, Block Samiti posts. For which there are 5,953 candidates. 25.90 lakh voters will vote in 9 districts.

Voting is going on today for the second phase of Haryana Panchayat elections. In 9 districts of the state, 5953 candidates are in the fray for the posts of 1357 Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti. 25 lakh 89 thousand 270 people will vote on these posts. Whereas on November 12, in these 9 districts, votes will be cast for Panch and Sarpanch.

The districts for election include Karnal district of CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Ambala district of Home Minister Anil Vij. At the same time late night BJP expelled 8 rebels from the party in Ambala. All of them are contesting against BJP candidates.

Votes will be held in these districts
In the second phase, voting will be held in Ambala, Charkhi-Dadri, Gurugram, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa and Sonipat districts in the schedule released by the Haryana State Election Commission. Voting will start at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm.

1023 Polling Booth Hyper Sensitive
The number of polling stations in 9 districts is 5,963. The number of sensitive polling booths has been kept at 976. The number of hyper sensitive polling booths in 9 districts is 1023. To ensure peaceful voting, additional police force has been arranged by the State Election Commission at sensitive and hyper-sensitive polling booths.

  • There are total 4,63,440 voters in Ambala. Of these, 2,16,433 are female voters and 2,46,997 are males.
  • In Charkhi Dadri male voters are 1,82,041 and female voters are 1,61,135.
  • Male voter in Gurugram is 1,37,512 and female voter is 1,23,623.
  • Male voters in Karnal are 3,98,909 and female voters are 3,54,730.
  • Kurukshetra has a total of 5,26,031 voters.
  • The number of voters in Rewari is 5,59,805.

  • The number of male voters in Sirsa is 3,89,133 and the number of females is 3,42,989.
