Vivo Y17s Launch: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on Monday launched its new affordable Y-series handset in India. The newly-released Vivo Y17s comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ waterdrop display, MediaTek’s Helio G85 processor, a 50MP main camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 15W FlashCharge.

The Vivo Y17s is available in two storage options — the 4GB+64GB model is priced at Rs 11,499 and the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499. It is now on sale starting today and can be purchased from Flipkart, Amazon, and the vivo India e-store. The new Vivo smartphone comes in Glitter Purple and Forest Green colour options.

Vivo Y17s Specifications

The Vivo Y17s features a double-mirror design with a 2.5D flat frame. The smartphone has a 6.56-inch HD+ waterdrop display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 60hz refresh rate.

The device also comes with a side fingerprint scanner for enhanced security and easy unlocking. The Vivo Y17s is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 processor and offers 4GB of additional RAM through its Extended RAM 3.0 feature.

The Vivo Y17s runs on FunTouch OS 13 based on the Android 13 platform. The handset is packed with a large, 5000mAh battery combined with 15W FlashCharge.

For cameras, The features a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP bokeh camera. For video calls and selfies, the Vivo Y17s has an 8MP front camera with an Aura Screen Light feature.

The device comes with a host of camera modes such as Super Night Mode, Stylish Night filters, and the Bokeh Flare Portrait feature.

“Aligned with the government’s Make in India vision, all these devices are manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility, which employs around 10,000 men and women, ensuring all vivo devices sold in India are made by fellow Indians,” the company said in a statement.
