Vivo Watch 2 smartwatch with eSIM support launched: Here’s what it offers – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Vivo has expanded its product portfolio for wearables with the launch of Vivo Watch 2. This new smartwatch from Vivo succeeds the last year launched Vivo Watch. Launched in China this latest smartwatch comes with eSIM support for standalone calling capabilities and LTE. It comes with a stainless steel casing and Jovi voice assistant.
The Vivo Watch 2 comes in black, white and silver colour options. The device also comes with a skin-friendly rubber strap and breathable Nappa leather watch band. The device is priced at 1299 yuan (Rs 15,395) and it will go on sale from December 29 in China. The company has not yet revealed the global launch and availability details of the smartwatch.
Vivo Watch 2 specifications
Vivo Watch 2 comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 pixel resolution and Always-On display. The device is powered by ST main processor and Apollo low-power processor.
The smartwatch packs 2GB built-in storage for local music playback. The device also comes with optical heart rate and SpO2 monitor. The wearable comes with 47 sports modes including Outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, pool swimming, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, mountain climbing, trail running, elliptical machine, HIIT, free training.
Vivo Watch 2 sports a water-resistant design and speaker and microphone for voice calling. The device promises to offer 7 days of battery backup with eSIM and up to 14 days with Bluetooth.
Meanwhile, Vivo also launched its latest dual selfie camera smartphone Vivo S12 Pro in China. The smartphone sports a 50MP + 8MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera with 108MO main sensor. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and is backed by a 4,300 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
