There has been a major twist in the matter of serious allegations of physical abuse leveled by the country’s best wrestlers against the President of Wrestling of India Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh (WFI). Where Vinesh Phogat tweeted and tagged Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur in it.
In which he has written that a member of both the committees probing the matter is leaking the facts of the complaint of sexual harassment. He came to know about this after reading media reports. That is why strict action should be taken against that member and he should be removed from the committee immediately.
Significantly, Mary Kom has been made the chairman of the committees by the IOA and the Sports Ministry. Whereas in both the committees only Haryana’s wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt is included. On whom Vinesh has already targeted.

I have recently learned that a player member of the Oversight Committee is allegedly leaking the contents of a sexual harassment complaint since yesterday. They came to know about this after reading media reports.
As a sportsperson, it is extremely disheartening to see a fellow sportsperson member of the over site committee behave in such a casual manner. His attitude towards women is evident from such behavior.
There should have been a fair investigation, feeling disappointed
What is even more appalling is that this player is a member of both the committees probing allegations of sexual harassment against high-ranking officials of the WFI. All this has created a deep distrust of the actions of the Committee.
I find this committee member not only feeling weak, but disappointed in the strategic efforts. There should have been a fair and just inquiry into the matter. I request that strict action be taken against the member for using his position in this manner and he should be removed from the committee immediately.
Member is against the interests of women from day one
The concern is not limited to the action of this inquiry as I am sure the former Speaker is getting the support of this member. This member has been working against the interests of women since day one.
The lack of empathy and insensitivity displayed by this player during the proceedings of the committee was shocking. I request that the matter be looked into and necessary action be taken immediately.
