He took admission in Sainik School with elder brother Kuldeep Dhankar. Jagdeep Sanga was the best cadet of the house. He was also selected in the NDA but became medically unfit due to the problem of farsightedness. He was so smart in his studies that he used to guide his elder brother Kuldeep also when needed. He had great command in Mathematics and English. He used to write articles in English for school magazines. When he took admission, he had filled the form in English without any hindrance.

He had great command over English. At the same time, he would have topped with the highest number of marks in Sanskrit too. His writing in English surprised the teachers. Writing is still in the school record. In 1965, he was the first in the English essay competition. His article was published on page number 20 of the school book.

After leaving Sainik School, he became a lawyer after studying at Jaipur University. When I sent him a message on making him the candidate for the post of Vice President, his reply also came.
