As per reports, Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan’s untitled comedy film to go on floors in 2024.
Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan might be reuniting once again to deliver a comedy film very soon.
The father-son duo Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan who have entertained fans with films like Judwaa 2 and Coolie No 1 might be joining forces for yet another project that is touted to be a laughter riot. While there were reports floating around that the film was in the scripting stage, a fresh report claims that both Varun and David Dhawan are intending to go on floors from April 2024.
As per a source close to the entertainment portal PinkVilla, like the trademark David Dhawan’s films, this one too will tickle our bones. The source shared, “David Dhawan has been exploring several ideas over the last few years and has finally got one that warrants a full-fledged theatrical outing for the families. Much like David Dhawan’s world of comedies, this one too will see a Varun Dhawan alongside two leading ladies. The humor of this yet untitled comic caper is a result of confusion in the love life of the protagonist. Varun is very excited too to revisit the comic space after a while.”
The source further added, ““It’s a big-scale comic entertainer that will be shot at multiple real-life locations in India and Abroad. The casting for the female leads is underway and the makers are all looking to sign two A-Listers on board the project. The 3 protagonists aside, some of the most seasoned comic artists of Hindi Cinema will also be a part of the ensemble cast.”
Varun Dhawan is now filming VD18, which is being directed by Jawan director Atlee Kumar. He will also be entering the OTT arena with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Citadel, an Indian spin-off of the American TV programme of the same name. Raj and DK, the directors of The Family Man, will direct the Indian adaptation of Citadel. This is an espionage action series created by AGBO under the Russo brothers. The main characters in the original series were played by Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
