The newly launched Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express again collided with cattle on Friday. This is the second such incident in two days. An official said that while going from Gandhinagar, the cow came in front of the train near Anand station in Vadodara section, due to which there is a minor dent in the front part of the train. However, after stopping for 10 minutes, the train was re-scheduled.
Earlier, Vande Bharat Express train collided with a herd of buffaloes near Ahmedabad railway station on Thursday. Four buffaloes were killed in the accident. In this, the front part of the Vande Bharat Express train was broken. The incident happened around 11 am. After this the train stood still for some time. However, about 8 minutes after the buffalo carcasses were removed from the track, the train was re-scheduled at 11:27 am. Let us inform that the Railway Protection Force has registered an FIR against the owner of the buffalo.

This new generation Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off from Gandhinagar by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30 September itself. With the new upgrade, this train can run at a maximum speed of 180 kmph. However, for now its maximum speed has been fixed at 130 kmph. Modi had also traveled in it from Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad.

20901 Vande Bharat Express running between Gandhinagar to Mumbai runs on of 6 week. This train leaves Mumbai Central at 06.10 AM and reaches Surat at 08.50 AM. It reaches Vadodara at 10.20 am and Ahmedabad at 11.35 am. It reaches its final destination i.e. Gandhinagar at 12.40 in the day. In return direction it leaves Gandhinagar at 14.05 hrs and reaches Ahmedabad at 14.40 hrs. It reaches Vadodara at 16.00 in the evening, Surat at 17.40 and Mumbai Central at 20.35 in the night.
