UPSSSC PET 2023: The commission will soon release the answer key on its official website upsssc.gov.in. To join Group C recruitment in UP, qualifying the exam is necessary
UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test or UP PET 2023 has been successfully conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The exam was conducted across the state in two shifts on October 28 and 29. More than 20 lakh candidates had applied for it, but according to media reports, more than 7 lakh candidates were absent from the examination. The examination was conducted in more than 1,000 centres in a total of 35 districts.
Now the candidates who appeared in the examination are waiting for the release of its answer key. The commission is expected to release the provisional answer key of the PET exam soon. If we look at the trends of previous years, usually the provisional answer key is released within three days of the completion of the examination. The commission is likely to follow the same process this year.
Where to get the UPSSSC PET 2023 answer key?
The commission will soon release the answer key on its official website upsssc.gov.in. After which objections will be invited from the candidates. Based on the objections raised, the final answer key and result will be released.
To join the Group C recruitment in UP, qualifying the UP PET is necessary. Those who clear the prelims exam will next be eligible to appear for the main examination of recruitment. Those who clear both the prelims and main exam will have to appear for the interview process and further document verification following which the final selection of candidates will be done.
The PET test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. It’s important to note that negative marking is applicable in the examination. The syllabus for the test covers topics like General Science, Social Science, Geography, the Indian Constitution, the Indian Economy, and the History of India.
A total of 77 exam solvers were caught in the examination held for two days. According to reports, 50 dummy candidates were caught on the first day. Out of which 38 were caught using a solver and two were caught using Bluetooth devices. While 10 people were caught through face recognition with the help of AI. On the second day, 27 solvers were caught by the police task force.
