UPSC CSE 2022 Reserve List Result Out; Uttarakhand’s Anupriya Rai Secures AIR 29 – News18

Anupriya had to wait for the results for almost 8 months.

Anupriya is currently serving as a PCS officer in the Haryana Government.

Many students aspire and dream to clear the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) Civil Service Examination (CSE). Many aspirants have, however, succeeded in this pursuit by chasing their dream with hard work and determination. The result of the UPSC CSE Mains 2022 was announced on May 23 this year. Now, the commission has suggested 89 candidates for the remaining positions from CSE 2022. Among them, Anupriya Rai is listed on the 29th position of the reserved list, released by UPSC. Even though it’s good news for Anupriya, she had to wait for the results for almost 8 months. Anupriya is currently serving as a PCS officer in the Haryana Government. She is the topper in Haryana PCS 2018.

Anupriya is a resident of Lohaghat town in Champawat district of Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region. She completed her schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and did her graduation from Delhi University. Anupriya’s father Mukul Rai is the Chief Pharmacist at Upazila Hospital and his mother Kiran Rai is also a Pharmacist in the same hospital. Anupriya Rai passed the PCS exam in the first attempt in 2018 and is currently posted on the post of BDPO (Block Development and Panchayat Officer). She has been a good student since school. In 2016, she cleared her 12th board exams with 95 percent marks.

It is reported that Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also had a telephonic conversation with Anupriya after she cleared the UPSC Civil Services exam.

The commission issued the UPSC CSE Main Result 2022 reserve list on Thursday, November 1. These candidates include 65 General, 7 EWS, 15 OBC,1 SC and 1 ST. The candidates who appeared for the UPSC CSE Main examination in 2022 can check and download their results from the official website of the commission at upsc.gov.in.
