A web series prepared in a government school in Sonepat, Haryana has created a ruckus over a highly objectionable scene. Although one letter of the name of the school has been changed in this web series, but a lot is being recognized from the logo of the school and the uniform of the children.

Obscene scenes and abusive language are there in it, along with children are shown smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol in the hostel. Even in this, a teacher has been seen making obscene demands from a girl student. After the dispute, the school management has filed a case against the shooting company and its directors in the police station. The school management alleges that the web series was not shown to them before its release and due to this they did not even give NOC. The police is investigating the matter

Shooting in December, 2021

It has been reported that a web series ‘Rang De Mohe’ was shot in December 2021 at a sports school in Sonepat. The name of the company doing the shooting is M/s Click On RM Private Ltd. Its registered office is 202, Maruti Business Park, Veer Desai Road Andheri West Mumbai. The web series is produced by Manish Trehan and directed by Rahul Dahiya. After about 1 year and 4 months after the shooting, this web series was released on the OTT platform named Max Player by the name of ‘Protest’.

NOC not taken

It has been told that before releasing this web series, its producer-director and company had sought NOC from the school management. The school claims that they demanded to watch the series and only then asked to issue the NOC. The web series was not shown by the company. For this reason they did not issue NOC. This web series was released on the OTT platform without the NOC of the school.

This web series has been released on the Max Player OTT platform by the name of Protest. Very objectionable scenes have been shown in the film. When the parents of the children studying in the school started protesting about this, the school management lost sleep. Wrote a letter warning the people of the web series that the name and logo of the school should be removed from it, otherwise legal action will be taken against them. Despite this, nothing was done by the series producer company.

Sexual abuse of girl student in series

The logo of the school, the uniform of the children and the Kamla Nehru School of the school have been shown in the web series. The web series is full of obscene scenes. Abusing is also happening fiercely. Many very objectionable scenes have been shown. Children have been shown smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol in the hostel. The sports coach of the school is shown making obscene demands on the student. Overall, the school is being brought into disrepute, as well as the fathers of those children, who study in the school and stay in the hostel, are also being put to shame.

The matter reached the police station

With the release of the web series on the OTT platform, the school is being defamed by the scenes shown in it. All the students, teachers, coaches, parents and other employees living in the school are hurt by this web series. Seeing the heat of the issue, the school management has also reached the police station against its producer, director and company.

School’s Vice Principal Moushumi Ghoshal has given a complaint in police station Rai and demanded strict action against the persons associated with it. The school management has demanded action against the producer and director of the web series and the OTT platform Max Player. A pan drive of the objectionable scene has also been handed over to the police by the school. Police has started investigating the matter.
