Varanasi DM removed CPMF in-charge

Mirzapur: VVPAT machine damaged at many booths

VVPAT machines broke down in several assembly constituencies of Mirzapur district. They were replaced after complaints. The VVPAT machine of eight booths of the Chhanbe assembly was faulty. When complaints were made in this regard at the start of voting, voting started after changing them. The booths where the machine broke down include 465, 245, 384, 95, 60, 266, 70 and Patulki booths in the assembly constituency. Similarly, polling was closed at Gambhirapur booth number 70 for one and a half hours due to the shutdown of VVPAT machine, which was later changed.

Complaints are being received about VVPAT and EVM malfunction at many booths in Varanasi, Mau Mirzapur

Polling started late by one hour and 15 minutes at the center located at Islamia Madrasa in Kotwa, Varanasi. There are long queues of voters here.

Voting started after 1 hour and 20 minutes due to malfunctioning of EVM of booth number 412 in Kopaganj, Saraswati Shishu Mandir of Ghosi Vidhan Sabha of Mau.
