Unnao’s gang rape victim’s house caught fire late on Monday night.
A fire broke out at the house of a minor gangrape victim in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao, in which two children also got burnt. In this, one child is 7 months old and the other girl child is 2 months old. The children have been sent to Hallet Hospital in Kanpur. The thrashing victim and his mother are undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Unnao. The incident took place on Monday night around 10 pm. A case has been registered against 7 accused in the matter.
The victim and her mother allege that the gangrapists were pressurizing them to settle the case. On protesting, they started abusing and beat them with sticks. After this the house was set on fire. Tried to kill 2 innocent children by burning them.
On February 13, 2022, a 13-year-old minor girl was raped by 5 youths from the village itself. After this she became pregnant and 7 months ago she gave birth to a child. Three accused Aman, Arun and Satish, residents of the village, were sent to jail. He is out on bail for a month.
The scorched children have been referred to Halat Hospital after treatment at the district hospital.
Mother said – pressured the agreement, then set it on fire
The gangrape victim’s mother said, ‘Those who ruined the daughter’s life have come out on bail. On Monday evening, the accused Aman and Satish came to my house along with their two other associates. My brother-in-law and father-in-law were also with them. Everyone started pressurizing them to compromise in the case of rape. When protested, they started threatening to kill.
Seeing no compromise, the accused started beating the whole family with kicks and sticks. After this, the thatch was set on fire. 2 children got burnt. The household items were also burnt.
The injured and scorched child was brought to the hospital by ambulance. The condition of the children is serious.
Victim said – Police helped the accused
The victim has also accused the police of helping the accused. The gangrape victim’s mother said, “The accused are threatening to kill me if they don’t withdraw the case.” Hit my girl, hit me too. lit a fire and threw the children into the fire.
ADM said – the matter is being investigated
ADM Narendra Singh has given orders for better treatment of children. SP Unnao Siddharth Shankar Meena has handed over the investigation to CO Purva. ADM Narendra Singh told that Aman and Satish have come out on bail a month ago. CO Purva Santosh Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused Roshan, Satish, Ranjit, Raj Bahadur, Chandan, Sukhdin and Aman Dom on the complaint of the family members.
