Union Minister Ashwini Choubey narrowly escaped in a road accident. It is being told that while returning from Buxar to Patna, the vehicle of Koransarai police station running in his car fell into the canal. Behind it was the vehicle of Union Minister Ashwini Choubey. A major accident was averted due to the presence of mind of the driver.
The accident took place near the Mathila-Narayanpur road bridge in Dumrao at 9 pm on Sunday.
The injured policemen were sent to Dumraon Sadar Hospital for treatment. Four policemen and a driver were injured in the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the administrative officials reached the spot.
On the accident, Ashwini Choubey has said that he has brought the injured policemen to Dumraon Sadar Hospital. He is being given first aid. Two policemen have received more injuries. After first aid, I am leaving for AIIMS Patna with him. The condition of all the policemen and the driver is out of danger.

Sitting on dharna against police lathi charge in Buxar

Attack on police in Bihar, 16 vehicles burnt
In Bihar’s Buxar district, farmers’ protest over compensation for land acquisition for thermal power plant turned fierce. The villagers attacked the police and the power plant with sticks and rods on Wednesday morning. Police vehicles were vandalized and set on fire.
