Unemployed youths have started protesting in Punjab under the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. For the first time in the government of CM Bhagwant Mann, the unemployed have climbed the tank. This young man is a police recruit about 6 years ago. He says that before the elections, Bhagwant Mann used to come from house to house, now we do not meet him. He said he would not go home until he got a job. Now he is being forced to do daily wages by reading and writing.

Case pending for 6 years
Navdeep Singh and Amandeep Kaur, who are protesting, said that 7416 posts were recruited in 2016. The matter has been pending for the last 6 years. Recruitment process has been completed. The applicants have already been verified. Despite this, they are not being joined. After this, during the election, Bhagwant Mann had said that his issue would be resolved as soon as the government was formed.

Called from Sangrur to Chandigarh, CM did not meet
He said that on March 22, he had staged a sit-in in the CM’s home district Sangrur. There he got the CM’s OSD. He was called to Chandigarh on 28 March. He was assured that the CM would introduce him to Bhagwant Mann. When he reached yesterday, he again took the demand letter and said that he will think about it. He was not made to meet CM Bhagwant Mann.
